Perhelatan penghargaan bagi insan televisi Amerika Serikat baru saja diadakan. Dan hasilnya, seperti yang telah diprediksi, Behind the Candelabras mampu meraih penghargaan televisi setara Oscar ini, dengan total 3 Emmy dalam 3 penghargaan utama dalam kategori khusus miniseries dan film televisi, yaitu Outstanding Miniseries or Movie, Outstanding Directing in Miniseries or Movie, dan Outstanding Lead Actor in Miniseries or Movie untuk Michael Douglas. Di belakangnya, season finale dari Breaking Bad, berhasil membawa pulang 2 piala, termasuk Outstanding Drama Series.
